White man refuses to sell Dodge Charger to Black man
Honestly, people have every right to feel how they feel about whomever. However, what people do not have the right to do is treat people badly because of how they feel about them. Unfortunately, this happens way too often. People mistreat each other over all kinds of differences, not only race. In this instance, however, a man refused to sell his Dodge Charger to a man based on his race.
On Facebook Marketplace, people have begun to sell all kinds of things. There are reports of people selling even their homes on Facebook Marketplace. However, the platform is more commonly where people sell their items, and maybe cars. Recently, a man decided he would unload his vehicle on the marketplace, but ended up creating a viral moment.
When a person lists a product for sale, on any platform, they cannot control who will express interest in making a purchase. However, listing a Dodge Charger on Facebook Marketplace will attract all kinds of people to it. A White man from Indiana ended up having a Black man express interest in buying the car. But when the seller saw who the buyer was, he said he would not sell to his kind and said he will not take food stamps, or dirty money, as compensation.
