Woman throws bowling ball, strikes another in Miami alley brawl
A bowling night turned violent at Miami’s Lucky Strike early Tuesday. When a dispute escalated into a wild brawl, bystanders were left in shock. The incident involved at least seven individuals and authorities are searching for participants.
The melee unfolded around 12:45 a.m. It saw various objects, including drinks and bowling balls, hurled across the alley. The incident was captured on video and shared by social media user “ONLY in Dade,” showcasing the chaotic scene.
According to Miami Police spokesperson Michael Vega, “Bowling balls were being thrown left and right, adding an extremely dangerous element to the fight.” The video highlights a moment when two women tussle over a ball, with one eventually breaking free. After that, she was hit in the head by another ball thrown by her opponent. As a result, causing her to collapse to the ground.
Both participants fled the scene before police arrived, leaving no arrests at the time. Authorities are now seeking both individuals, not only for their involvement in the physical altercation but also for potential criminal charges related to vandalism and aggravated battery.
Lucky Strike Miami, a new addition to the downtown Miami Worldcenter, opened on March 25 and is now dealing with the fallout of the brawl. Investigators spent Tuesday evening interviewing witnesses and reviewing security footage to piece together the events and determine the cause of the quarrel.
As the search continues, the condition of the injured woman remains unknown, heightening concerns about the severity of her injuries.
