Even most “lyrical” hip hop heads don’t give him his credit, but Skyzoo did when he talked to Hip Hop Vibe about doing a tribute project for Jay-Z’s first album.

Jay-Z came into the game with a plan, he’s the type of dude to never come into anything unprepared. His original plan was to step away from the rap game and then for Memphis Bleek to take his place. Most can agree that this isn’t how things turned out, including Memphis Bleek.

Vlad TV recently had Memphis Bleek on and he talked about the plans Jay-Z had for him. The mentions of this begin on Vol. 2… Hard Knock Life, but Memphis Bleek knew these were tough shoes to fill. He discussed this during this segment of his interview.
