Hearts are heavy as we go about reporting this story. Only minutes ago, we revealed The Jacka was critically shot in the head. The Bay Area legend was a member of Mob Figgaz and well-respected in the industry, but he was shot in Oakland last night.
Despite being shot in the head, everyone remained hopeful that The Jacka would pull through. Life is best lived to the fullest and with optimism, so everyone wished the best for The Jacka. Unfortunately, The Jacka was unable to survive what he was stacked up against.
Leaving this world, The Jacka gifted the world with classic music over the past two decades. He more than earned his status in the game as a legend and he opened doors for many. Without a doubt, The Jacka will never be forgotten and the team here at Hip Hop Vibe sends our condolences to his family and friends.
