Three years ago, few people outside of Oakland could have imagined this. Then, they were fresh off their second playoff appearance in the Steph Curry era. The Warriors took a Game 7 loss to the Clippers and turned it into the 2015 championship.
Steph Curry went back-to-back as MVP, in 2015 and 2016. The second of which came with Steph leading the Warriors to a 73-9 season. But, their implosion, arguably starting with their home loss to Minnesota, ended up costing them the title.
All of that is in the past, as Steph Curry played big in Game 3, finally getting that elusive third game win in Cleveland. After the game, Curry caught up with ESPN to discuss the big win. He spoke on the Warriors’ rally, their 3-0 series lead, their undefeated record, and needing one more win.
