This afternoon, Bill Cosby was released from prison, after being in legal trouble, since 2014. The famed comedian is now a free man, once again. According to reports, a “non-prosecution” agreement means Bill Cosby should have never gone to prison, in the first place.
Bill Cosby, during the fall of 2014, was accused of drugging and raping women. Soon, one-by-one, many women came forward to accuse Cosby of rape. It wasn’t long before there was an investigation, which led to Bill Cosby’s eventual arrest and prosecution.
Currently, Bill Cosby is celebrating his freedom, but he should have never gone to prison, regardless. There was a “non-prosecution” agreement that Bill Cosby had with a previous prosecutor. Because of this, a mistrial was declared, leading to Cosby’s release from prison.
