Anita Baker removes Babyface from tour after his fans bullied her

Anita Baker is regarded as one of the greatest R&B stars of all-time. She’s currently been venturing on her “Songstress” Tour, which kicked off on February 11, in Hollywood, FL. Furthermore, she’s also been joined by Babyface as a special guest performer. However, Baker is now trended due to some issues surrounding the tour.

On May 10, Baker was forced to cancel her show in Newark, NJ, due to technical issues. Therefore, Babyface’s fans supposedly began bashing Baker on social media. In addition to that, That even caused Babyface to be removed from that show.

As a result of this reported online bullying, Baker has now taken to Twitter to announce that Babyface will no longer be performing for the remainder of her tour. She added that refunds will be made available for those who request them.

“After Silently, Enduring Cyber Bulling/Verbal Abuse & Threats of Violence from the Fan Base, of Our Special Guest/Support Act. In the Interest of Personal Safety. I will continue, The Songstress Tour, alone. Appropriate refunds will be made. Blessings.”

Babyface has also since released a statement, after being removed from Baker’s tour. He expressed disappointment, but still emphasized that he has love and respect for her.
