SZA calls out album and tour doubters on Twitter
SZA has been seeing massive success over the past seven months. This came in the aftermath of the release of her sophomore album. “SOS,” in December. That project went on to debut at number one in the US, on the Billboard 200 chart. Furthermore, that was also SZA’s first number one album.
Meanwhile, SZA is now on Twitter calling out critics who doubted that her SOS album and SOS Tour wouldn’t do well. She added that those blessings were coming, even in the midst of the doubt.
“The net is not real . N***** said my tour would never sell and we were blessed. N***** said my album wouldn’t do well it’s wack blah blah . We were blessed . N***** say a lot . That’s they job . U keep doing yours and being who God told u to be in REAL LIFE 🤍🫶🏾 love y’all.”
SOS contained 23 songs in total, and was led by singles such as “Good Days,” “Shirt” and “I Hate U.” “Kill Bill” went on to be a major record as well, as it reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100, and became SZA’s first number one single.
The UK/European leg of SZA’s SOS Tour is also still ongoing. That will conclude this month, as the additional North American dates will resume on September 20, in Miami.
