Nicki Minaj to host and perform at MTV VMAs
The 2023 MTV VMAs will take place on September 12, in Newark, NJ. The host venue is the Prudential Center. Taylor Swift has the most nominations for this year, with 11 in total. SZA comes in at second, with six.
Furthermore, the list of performers for the VMAs have also been unveiled, over the past week. Among those set to hit the stage are Shakira, Anitta, Karol G, Lil Wayne, Doja Cat, Olivia Rodrigo, and more.
Meanwhile, another legend has been added to the VMAs performance lineup. Nicki Minaj has been confirmed, as she is also set to be the host for the night. As a result, her Barbz fan base went on to be ecstatic about this, on social media.
Nicki Minaj is also buzzing with her new “Last Time I Saw You” single, which was released over a week ago. This record will appear on her upcoming “Pink Friday 2” album, on November 17. This will be Nicki’s first project since August 2018’s “Queen.” Moreover, she’s also planning to venture on her first tour in over five years, in 2024. Nicki even went as far as labeling this tour as “genius.”
