Wizards fans boo Jordan Poole for 0 points and fouling out
Jordan Poole was the X factor in the Warriors’ 2022 championship season. The same things that ended up lifting Golden State in 2022 sank them in 2023. As a result, Jordan Poole took a bulk of the blame for the Warriors’ failed season. During the offseason, the Warriors shipped Poole to the Wizards in exchange for Chris Paul. Golden State continues to struggle, while the Wizards are one of the worst teams of all-time. Poole was supposed to be the franchise player, but he was booed by the home crowd last night.
Jordan Poole wanted his own team and a bigger role on the Warriors. Being sent to the Wizards seemed like a solution that would help everyone. Unfortunately, it looks like the Warriors were simply on a downward trend anyway. Meanwhile, Poole has proven to not be a franchise type of player. It appears as though he is better as a team’s role player. The Wizards have had a historically bad season, which is only overlooked due to the Pistons’ ineptitude.
Jordan Poole had a terrible game in a relatively competitive loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers. Quietly, this team in Cleveland has been playing well. However, had Jordan Poole had a somewhat competent game, the Wizards may have had a chance. Unfortunately, Poole had one of those historically bad game. He went scoreless in the loss to the Cavs. Not only did Poole finish the game with no points, but also, he fouled out. As a result, the DC crowd began booing him.
