The past few years have seen Adrienne Bailon and Naturi Naughton return to the spotlight. Ironically, they re-emerged on opposite sides of one of hip hop’s biggest beefs. What returned Adrienne was the gospel film, I’m In Love With A Church Girl with Ja Rule.
Naturi Naughton, on the other hand, has melted all kinds of devices with “Power,” alongside 50 Cent and Omari Hardwick. Before TV and movies, Adrienne Bailon and Naturi Naughton were a part of 3LW. The ladies were joined by Kiely Williams.
Together, the trio was similar to Destiny’s Child, but their own thing, albeit not as well-known. Seeing how Naturi Naughton and Adrienne Bailon are both all over TV with “Power” and “The Real,” it was a good look to reflect on their past. When 3LW was a thing, they had one hit early in the summer of 2001 with “Playas Gon’ Play,” this week’s Wednesday Throwback.
