GTM Haze talks song with Tony Moxberg and new EP

GTM Haze is a rising star in the game, representing New York. However, he is not from New York City. Like Rakim, GTM Haze is from Long Island. When it comes to Long Island, many mistake it for the City. A part of Queens does extend to Long Island. However, many confuse Rakim as an NYC rapper. With GTM Haze blazing the same trail, he runs the same risk. All that matters to Haze, however, is that people enjoy the good music.

GTM Haze is definitely doing his part to make sure the people hear his music. For the better part of a decade, Tony Moxberg has dominated the New York streets with his music. A rapper coming up could definitely make a record with Tony Moxberg and get movement. At the same time, GTM Haze is a lyrical mastermind, himself. Anyone trading bars with Haze needs to be prepared. Together, they could come with a hit.

GTM Haze delivered his single, “Time,” which features Tony Moxberg. In addition, Haze released his newest project, Straight Drop, which is an EP. Currently, GTM Haze is putting in that work. The grind won’t stop until Haze reaches his full potential. Anyone who talks to Haze knows he believes he can be one of the biggest stars in the game. Recently, he spoke with Hip-HopVibe.com about these ambitions.

What’s it like to come from Long Island and making some noise at this rap thing?

I think it feels how it would feel anywhere else, which is epic. It’s an indescribable feeling to know your voice is being herd.

Many times people confuse Long Island and New York City, so many think it’s the same place, does that bother you at times?

Nah not at all, it’s just another thing to talk about when I’m out of state networking.

The record “Time” with Tony Moxberg is very good. Tony has been around for some time, how did you link with him?

I first linked with Tony back in 2021 at his video shoot with Jadakiss, Sheek Louch, and Benny the Butcher for the song “Love” with my good friend Will C, from Streetheat, who directed the video. After helping with the video we got connected. After hard work and steady grinding the collab happened

The Straight Drop EP, a pretty good project, to the fans unfamiliar with you, when they hear it, what should they expect?

The fans should expect to want to turn their speakers up! This project holds five songs, each with a different theme and feel from the last. This EP basically explains my personality

2023 is moving and the world already coming close to March. As far as new music goes, what are some other things you’ve been working on?

I’m constantly focused on adding to my catalog. After the release of “Time,” I recently decided to drop a another song titled “Me Myself & I.” It’s available on platforms. I’m also in the process of my second EP, High Expectations.

Final message to the fans and how they can reach you.

Lock in on all platforms GTM Haze.
