Recently, Hip Hop Vibe and Phenomenal Radio re-started the weekend series, “Indie Spotlight.” Throughout the time this series has run, Phenomenal Radio has only featured artists, as opposed to DJs. Now, Phenomenal Radio has broken new ground with their latest spotlighted figure.
A native of Charleston, South Carolina, DJ Swayd (pronounced Suede) has lived all over the United States. DJ Swayd also lived outside of the United States, in Korea, which has opened doors for him. Influenced by several regions, DJ Swayd has an international appeal.
DJ Swayd has rocked clubs all over the world and even finds himself being a popular radio DJ. Among the stations DJ Swayd mixes for is Phenomenal Radio and he has rocked crowds that included people like Nelly, Twista, Chalie Boy, Gorilla Zoe, Yo Gotti, and more.
