Hailing from Deptford Township New Jersey, The Voices of Terror have a unique sound blended with heavy rock overtones, Hip Hop, and a dim but noticeable electronic feel. The group recently released their album, Rock Rap Dynasty. Evidenced by the title, they came into this with a unique attack angle.
Their lead single, “Warning,” is an eclectic mix of basic bars and even better musicianship and production. Fans of Alternative Hip Hop will be moved by this one. Other standout tracks on the project include, “D.E.A.T.H. of RAP” and “Insane Lyricist.” In between, there are enough solid tracks to keep the listener interested.
The Voices of Terror are definitely trying to bring something different to the game. Overall, they do just this, but their style takes some getting used to. Just how they attract some is how they just might turn others back, but they are definiely an outfit that is on the rise, thus an act to pay attention to.
