Real winners in life know the most beautiful thing is not to just reach one’s own goals, but to also help others do the same. In the years before J. Cole actually managed to emerge, he had a lot of hype. For the most part, he lived up to it, and has many hits under his belt.
During his four year span, J. Cole did not just look out for his own interests, which is easy to do with a Jay Z co-sign. He still took the time to create his own label. This label is home to artists such as Baz and many others.
Last week, Bas released Too High To Riot, his sophomore album. He recently released the “Night Job” video with J. Cole. Making his media rounds, Bas stopped by Hot 97 to discuss the album and do a freestyle with Peter Rosenberg.
