JID releases “The Forever Story” album
Dreamville rapper JID is back with his first studio album, since late 2018, with “DiCaprio 2.” This is “The Forever Story,” as it’s led by the singles “Surround Sound” featuring 21 Savage and “Dance Now” featuring Kenny Mason. JID has since been regarded as one of the best lyricists in hip-hop, as he’s been under the mentorship of J. Cole, at Dreamville.
The Forever Story contains 15 songs in total, with additional features from Earth Gang, Baby Tate, Lil Durk, Ari Lennox, Lil Wayne, and more. This is JID’s third studio album on Dreamville, as DiCaprio was his highest-charting project, at number 42 on the Billboard 200.
