SZA releases “Ctrl” deluxe edition for album’s five-year anniversary
SZA’s 2017 debut studio album, “Ctrl,” officially turns five, today. Earlier this week, SZA teased putting out five unreleased songs, to celebrate Ctrl’s anniversary. These would’ve been songs recorded from 2014-2017. Now, SZA has just released seven more songs, as part of Ctrl’s deluxe edition. An alternate cover art is also included.
Songs included in the Ctrl deluxe are the “Love Galore” extended version, “2AM,” “Miles,” “Awkward,” and more. The original Ctrl included 14 songs, with appearances from Kendrick Lamar, Travis Scott, and more. Ctrl also went on to top the Billboard 200 chart, and is 2x platinum, in the US.
