Tyga was a member of Cash Money Records, via Young Money, from 2008 through 2014. The ending of Tyga’s affiliation with the label, his decision, coincided with initial news of him dating Kylie Jenner, at the time a shocking story. In the end, Tyga left things on good terms with Birdman and he proves this by naming his street single, “Cash Money,” after his former, longtime, label.
