Carl Crawford denies having issues towards Megan Thee Stallion

Since 2020, Megan Thee Stallion and 1501 Certified ENT’s Carl Crawford haven’t seen eye to eye. This in regards to letting Megan release the music that she wants, as that was on display with her “Suga” EP, in March 2020. Various social media shots were also fired against each other.

However, Crawford recently revamped his team at 1501, and emphasized that he has no problems with Megan. As a result, he went on to speak about this further, in a new interview between himself and 1501 President Kai “Verse” Tyler with TMZ.

“It’s just the social media stuff, it turned really, really sour. You take this social media part out of it, we don’t have a problem. You not gon’ hear me mention Megan Thee Stallion’s name in the media unless I’m doing something like this.”

Crawford initially signed Megan to 1501, in 2018. He initially discovered her on YouTube, and made it a goal to sign her to his label. 1501 was initially launched in 2016, following Crawford’s highly successful MLB career, where he was a 4x all-star. Megan really began to create a buzz for herself in Texas in the summer of 2018, with her “Tina Snow” mixtape. In February 2019, her “Big Ole Freak” single from that project went viral, and she’s been a star since then.
