Watching 2 Chainz elevate from the Atlanta mixtape scene to being Def Jam’s leading star has been an amazing thing to see. The entire hip hop industry has tuned into the movement 2 Chainz started. His TRU movement is popular and 2 Chainz dropped his first two albums on the heels of each other.
2 Chainz is dominating the game and he is working on his third album. With the third album in the works, 2 Chainz is preparing an EP to hold fans over. The next project from 2 Chainz is going to be the Freebase EP, which is due on May 5 and is a holdover project, of sorts.
