Lil Wayne is in more legal issues, as another lawsuit is heading his way. According to TMZ, he is being sued, after firing a chef for wrongful termination. This comes after this chef needed to get to Los Angeles to take care of her son, who sustained a head injury.
This woman has been identified as Morghan Medlock, as she claims that she was terminated while in Las Vegas with Wayne and his team. This was during Memorial Day weekend, as she notified them about what happened to her son. At the time, Medlock had been working for Wayne for almost two years.
Medlock was supposed to be on the flight with Wayne back, but he kept causing that to be delayed. As a result, she took a separate plane back. Wayne’s assistant claimed that they would be understanding of the situation. But, Medlock later received a text message asking if she was going to quit. She responded with a no.
However, Wayne supposedly texted Medlock saying “Tell Chef Morghan this isn’t going to work.” The lawsuit went on to be filed due to it being a violation of California law, and is seeking $500,000 in damages. Wayne has yet to respond to the lawsuit.
