2022 American Music Awards nominees revealed; Bad Bunny, Beyoncé, Drake, GloRilla, Future, The Weeknd, and more included

Bad Bunny leads list of 2022 American Music Awards nominations

The 2022 American Music Awards will be held this year on November 20, in Los Angeles. The Microsoft Theater at LA Live will be host to this ceremony, as the official list of nominees were revealed, on Thursday.

Therefore, Bad Bunny is the most nominated artist at the 2022 AMAs, as he’s been completely dominant, this year. His “Un Verano Sin Ti” album has been at the number one spot on the Billboard 200 chart for over 13 weeks in 2022, and has been putting up historic numbers with his current world tour.

Also, Beyoncé and Taylor Swift are the second most nominated at these AMAs, with six each. They’re both included in the Artist Of The Year category. Others in this nomination are Adele, Drake, Harry Styles, and The Weeknd.

Plenty of hip-hop acts are being recognized, as Future’s “Wait For U” with Drake and Tems is up for Best Collaboration. Lil Nas X’s “Industry Baby” with Jack Harlow is also in this category.

Favorite Male Hip-Hop Artist is a stacked list, which includes Drake, Future, Kendrick Lamar, Lil Baby, and Lil Durk. Favorite Female Hip-Hop Artist features GloRilla, Megan Thee Stallion, Nicki Minaj, Cardi B, and Latto.

R&B stars were also highlighted, in these AMAs nominations. Favorite Male R&B Artist category features Brent Faiyaz, Chris Brown, GIVĒON, Lucky Daye, and The Weeknd. The female category includes Beyoncé, Doja Cat, Muni Long, Summer Walker, and SZA.
