Future’s “Wait For U” with Drake and Tems goes 2x platinum
In April, Future released his ninth studio album, “I Never Liked You.” This went on to be Future’s seventh straight number one solo studio album.
The biggest record to emerge from I Never Liked You, has been “Wait For U.” This features Drake and Tems, as it went on to debut at number one, on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Future has collaborated with Drake on many occasions over the past decade, as was also his first collab with Tems, who is one of the biggest stars from Nigeria.
Now, Wait For U has achieved another huge milestone, since its release. According to Chart Data, it is now certified 2x platinum in the US. This comes after selling over 2 million units. Currently, Wait For U stands at number five, on the Hot 100.
Last weekend, Future also headlined Rolling Loud’s annual Miami festival. He performed many of his classic hits, and even brought out Travis Scott and Lil Durk to perform alongside him. Future has been a consistent headlined at RL, over the past four years.
