Back in February, former CMG artist Snootie Wild was found dead, in Houston. At the time, he was found in a ditch, as police learned that he suffered from a gunshot wound. Snootie soon passed away at a nearby hospital.

A call was initially made on February 25, around 2AM. Snootie supposedly pulled a gun on her, at first. Oddly, shots were soon fired on Snootie, as the Memphis rapper initially refused help. Therefore, he was eventually taken to receive medical assistance, while in critical condition. The woman who left didn’t realize that Snootie ended up shot.

However, an arrest has now been made in connection to the death of Snootie. 22-year-old Ivory Duke Williams is now in custody, and charged murder in the 185th State District Court, according to WREG Memphis 3.

Snootie initially saw breakout success in 2014, after the release of his “Yayo” single, featuring Yo Gotti. Yayo went on to be Snootie’sfirst gold certified single. That record appeared on his “Go Mode” EP. At the time, he was signed to Gotti’s CMG record label. Gotti and Snootie are both Memphis natives.
