2Pac to be honored with Hollywood Walk Of Fame star
2Pac is still regarded by many, as one of the greatest artists of all-time. What he stood for as a person is still honored by many fans, worldwide. As a result, the late rapper is about to receive another massive honor.
On June 7, 2Pac will finally receive his own star on the legendary Hollywood Walk Of Fame. This was confirmed in announcement from the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce. Big Boy of Real 92.3 will also be hosting this event. In addition to this, Pac’s sister Sekyiwa “Set” Shakur will accept the star, on his behalf. This event is also taking place nine days before his birthday.
2Pac’s Hollywood Walk Of Fame ceremony also comes amid the recent Hulu “Dear Mama” docuseries. That project highlighted the relationship between Pac and his mother. Five episodes were available, which went on to receive high praise from fans on social media. Director Allen Hughes and executive producer Jamal Joseph will also be guest speakers at the ceremony. 2Pac and his mother were very close, all the way until 2Pac’s September 1996 murder, where he was shot in a drive-by in Las Vegas.
