In the fourteen years since 50 Cent rose to fame, he has endured many ups and downs. But, one thing he would likely agree to is that his biggest failure is the deterioration of his relationship with his son. Early in his career, 50 Cent said he began rapping for little Marquise.
Featuring Marquise in the “Wanksta” music video, his son’s nickname was Lil’ 50. As he got older, Marquise rebelled, as most sons do against their fathers. But, with 50 Cent being the father, things were much messier than the typical father/son relationship.
After four years of doing back and forth with his son, 50 Cent looked like he was making inroads. A conversation between father and son took place on Instagram and it looked like the two were headed to a good place. Unfortunately, 50 Cent’s baby mama, Shaniqua, got in the middle of it and put him on blast.
