50 Cent says he won’t sell any more shows to STARZ

In 2022, 50 Cent revealed that he’s not renewing his contract at STARZ. As a result, hit series such as the “Power” spinoffs and his new “BMF” series won’t be at that network, in the future.  50 initially expressed his frustration with the network that spring. This comes after seeing massive success with STARZ, since 2014. 50 entering the television industry came after almost a decade of success as one of the biggest artists of all-time.

This weekend, 50 continued to double down, regarding not working with STARZ in the future. He took to Twitter to say that any “BMF” spinoffs or any other show will be sold to STARZ, moving forward.

“I have the number 1,2,3, and 4 top Tv shows in African American, and Latina households and i hate that i did them with the wrong people. I’m not doing any BMF spin offs or selling any other shows to STARZ.”

However, 50 has still had more success with STARZ, with his latest series. This includes season 2 of “BMF,” which aired in January. “Powerbook II: Ghost” season 3 also went on to air on March 17. 50 also has more projects coming to Paramount+ and Peacock.
