50 Cent speaks had 10th most YouTube views as a rapper in 2022

50 Cent is currently trending on social media, due to having the 10th most YouTube views, out of all rappers, in 2022. He accumulated 1.8 billion views. 50’s close friend and former label mate Eminem was at number one, with 5.1 billion views. 50 was ahead of Lil Durk, who had 1.6 billion views.

Now, 50 is speaking on reaching this major YouTube accolade, on Twitter. He mentioned that he accomplished this, despite not releasing music since January 2022. At the time, he put out his “Power Powder Respect” single, featuring Lil Durk and Jeremih.

“I didn’t put nothing out in a while,” 50 said. “I would be mad if i was new and i wasn’t on the list.”

50 is also preparing for the premiere of season 2 of “BMF,” on STARZ, which is airing on January 6. The show initially premiered back in October 2021, as it became one of the biggest series on television. It details the rise of legendary Detroit drug dealer, Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory” and Terry “Southwest T” Flenory. Demetrius Lil Meech” Flenory Jr plays the role of Big Meech in the series, who is his father. Yung Miami and Mo’Nique are some of the celebrities who are confirmed to make cameos in season 2.
