One of the first supporters of Chief Keef was 50 Cent. Initially, Chief Keef enjoyed much success and attention. But, once his “I Don’t Like” single made its rounds, many people began speaking out against it. 50 Cent rushed to Chief Keef’s defense and the Chicago native would sign with Interscope Records.

Previously jailed for pointing a gun at police officer, Chief Keef was out on probation when he made his run. After being signed to Interscope Records, Chief Keef violated probation for firing guns during an interview with The Fader. Between taunting a deceased rival on Twitter, Chief Keef proved Lupe Fiasco right.

When Chief Keef failed to show up at his “Hate Bein’ Sober” video shoot, with Wiz Khalifa and 50 Cent, Fif called him out on Twitter. Since then, 50 Cent talked about Chief Keef in various interviews. With Chief Keef facing legal trouble, 50 Cent talked to MTV News about how he never had the proper structure, even when it comes to music.
