Afro Nation prepares to kick off inaugural Detroit festival

This weekend, Afro Nation is officially expanding their festivals to Detroit. The inaugural 2-day festival in the Motor City will take place from August 19-20, at the historic Bedrock Douglass Site.

Furthermore, Afro Nation also has a star-studded lineup which contains various fan-favorites in Afrobeats and hip-hop. On the opening day of August 19, fans will be treated to performances by artists such as Burna Boy, Ari Lennox, Latto, Dadju, Sillibeng, Victony, and much more, on the Main Stage. On The Piano People Stage, this will feature names such as DJ Maphorisa, Musa Keys, Kamo Mphela, DJ Moma, Tyla, and 2WobBunnies.

Meanwhile, on Afro Nation’s final day of its Detroit festival on August 20, it is definitely set to conclude with a strong statement. Those set to hit the stage that afternoon and evening are Davido, P-Square, Coi Leray, Naira Marley, Masego, and plenty more on the Main Satge. On the final Piano People Stage, Major League DJz, DBN Gogo, Focalistic, Mr Jazziq, Sha Sha, and TXC will be bringing the vibes.
