Despite the pleas to stop the violence, there are some people who just won’t do right. Alabama was in the headlines, majorly, last month. The riverboat incident proved that Black people can come together for the right reasons. However, the display after the Bama game showed how foolishly some people can act, too. After the game, one of the football players argued with a referee, before hitting him in the face.
Sports bring out some of the oddest emotions from fans and players. In the heat of the moment, people involved in sports will say or do anything. It’s especially tough when the game is close and one of the teams loses. Fans and players, alike, get upset with the referees, and accuse them of tipping the game to the opposing team. Sometimes, people can take things too far.
Clearly, one of the players from Alabama State was upset after the game. Somehow, he got into it with one of the refs, after the game was over. The two were arguing and they were right in front of the bleachers. As a result, the people watching the game had a front row seat. After the argument, the player got upset, and took a swing at the ref, hitting him in his face.
