Angel Reese has become the biggest name in basketball, in just one day. One unapologetic gesture made her a star to many. When addressing Caitlin Clark, Angel Reese said she taunted her because of the disrespect. In an effort to defuse the situation, First Lady Jill Biden invited both Iowa and LSU to the White House. Normally, only the championship’s winner is invited to the White House. Mrs. Biden breaking tradition has Angel Reese upset. As a result, she called her a joke.

Angel Reese is unafraid to speak her mind, even in the face of adversity. Because she did Caitlin Clark’s gesture back to her, Reese has faced all kinds of backlash. Unbothered, she has simply responded to the criticism. On “NBA Today,” Angel Reese said she’s used to people disliking her, dating back to high school. As a result, she said she will continue to be a voice for Black women. In addition, she accused Clark of prior disrespect.

Angel Reese not only led LSU to their school’s first ever national championship, but she’s also become a celebrity. Historically, the White House has invited champions from every major sport to the White House. Since the White House began this tradition, no member of the losing team has ever been invited to there. However, Jill Biden has changed this. As a result, Angel Reese took to Twitter, where she called the First Lady a “joke.”
