In almost every black movie, Angela Bassett plays somebody’s mother and that’s her staple. But, after she played in Jumping The Broom, she got known for something else. Overall, Angela Bassett is a legend in the entertainment industry.
Angela Bassett is hoping to add to this legacy, but she is risking a lot to do it. Success does not come without risk, but Angela Bassett has teamed up with Lifetime for the Whitney movie. This film comes less than two months after their Aaliyah movie disaster.
Sway invited Angela Bassett to “Sway In The Morning” on Shade 45, where they discussed her work on this movie. Angela Bassett talked about the relationship she and Whitney Houston had. She went on to discuss how and why she signed on to be the director of this movie.
