Anthony Hamilton and the Hamiltones talk touring with Fantasia, new music, and more with #TheBreakfastClub [VIDEO]

Many people first heard of Anthony Hamilton in 2002, when he did the hook on Nappy Roots’ “Po Folk.” That single hit during the late summer of 2002, cementing Hamilton as a household name. Later, he did the hook on “Thugz Mansion,” Tupac’s posthumous single.

Anthony Hamilton made his name as a solo artist in 2004. This was when he delivered “Charlene,” which remains a classic. That song has provided Anthony Hamilton enough royalties, allowing him to diversify his sound and make “Empire” cameos.

Recently, Anthony Hamilton stopped by “The Breakfast Club,” where he and The Hamiltones spoke to DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and Charlamagne Tha God. The group spoke about the Hamiltones’ touring with Fantasia and finally delivering their new album. In the interview, they touched on this, and much more.
