Anthony Joshua Gets TKO’d By Andy Ruiz Jr In Seventh Round Loss; Twitter Thinks Joshua’s Loss Is Due To Drake Curse After Taking Picture With Him

Heavyweight Anthony Joshua was heading into his fight vs Andy Ruiz Jr at 22-0 tonight and stunned the world as he was TKO’d in the seventh round by Ruiz. He didn’t look good in the fight at all as he was knocked down four times. Many expected him to win this fight and eventually fight Deontay Wilder, who many think he’s trying to avoid though.

Twitter immediately went into a frenzy after Joshua’s shocking loss and pointed the reason to the Drake curse. A few months ago, Joshua took a photo with Drake and said “Bout to break the curse. #June1” Many know Drake to coincidentally jink teams/athletes by wearing their apparel and/or take photos with them. Joshua just happened to be on the wrong end of it tonight. As far as the Joshua-Wilder heavyweight clash that fans want so much, don’t expect that now after this unexpected loss.
