Attorney for family of Astroworld Festival victim Ezra Blount, bashes Travis Scott for driving Bugatti; Travis’ rep says car was bought back in 2020

Astroworld Festival victims’s attorney slams Travis Scott for driving Bugatti

Travis Scott is still being heavily criticized, for his Astroworld Festival, from November. 10 peopled died due to injuries from the festival, and over 300 people were injured. Travis has since been hit with over 300 lawsuits, as well.

One of the Astroworld Festival victims was 9-year-old Ezra Blount. Blount was injured after falling off of his father’s shoulders, at the festival. Blount was placed on life support after suffering brain and organ damage.

Travis Scott was recently seen driving a rare Bugatti Veyron Chiron, that many believed is a recent purchase. This has been met with criticism, especially from the attorney who represents’ Blount’s family, Bob Hillard.

Hillard said to TMZ, that if Travis spent what he did on the Bugatti for festival safety measures, Blount would still be here. This Bugatti is worth $5.5. million. A rep for Travis has since slammed Hillard, as they claim that the Bugatti was purchased back in 2020.

“This latest attempt to exploit Astroworld victims and gaslight the media and the public is a new low. The car referenced was purchased way back in 2020 (well before the tragic events at Astroworld), and covered widely by the media — including TMZ — at that time. Misrepresenting a two-year-old car purchase to make an unprovoked and unjustified attack on Travis Scott is nothing more than another desperate publicity stunt to try to falsely blame Travis and intentionally manipulate public opinion, which won’t work.”

Travis has since began performing again, such as at the Billboard Music Awards. He will also headline Rolling Loud and Day N Vegas, this fall.
