Look, ain’t nobody over here (especially me) going to even lie like they know much about tennis. Serena Williams and Venus Williams, that’s enough to know about it. Before that, not many fans of hip hop watched pro tennis, but they do now, for more reasons than one.
All the hype in sports media was Serena and Venus Williams facing off in the Australian Open. Only one could win and Serena would take that title. Back in the day, they used to say both sisters were the best in tennis, but Serena’s got to be the GOAT now.
Early this morning, social media is buzzing about this, because they watched it along with Australia. All of the hype is about the Williams sisters and all the work they put in. This is another straight outta Compton story, but this time everybody lived to tell the story.
