Bad Bunny says he threw a fan’s phone because of “lack of respect,” for the phone being in his face

Bad Bunny says he threw fan’s pone due to “lack of respect”

Bad Bunny began to trend heavily on social media, on Sunday night. This was due to him being seen throwing a fan’s phone in the air, in the Dominican Republic, who was very close to him. As a result, the Puerto Rican rapper began to casually keep walking away, and didn’t address the fan in that moment.

However, Bunny is now taking to Twitter, on Monday, to speak on that incident. He cited how it was due to “lack of respect” and would’ve gladly spoke to any other fan.

“The person who comes up to me to say hello, to tell me something, or just to meet me, will always receive my attention and respect,” Bunny explained, in an English Twitter translation. “Those who come to put a phone bastard in my face I will consider it for what it is, a lack of respect and I will treat it likewise.

This comes after Bunny had a legendary 2022, as he was the most streamed artist of the year. He accumulated over 20 billion streams, as he was buzzing with his Billboard 200 chart-topping “Un Verano Sin Ti” album. He was also the highest grossing tour year for any artist in history, by generating over $432 million.
