Two years ago, Bankroll Freddie went viral, as one of the south’s latest breakout rappers. He also became the first rapper from Arkansas to really blow up. Freddie’s buzz soon led him to a deal with Quality Control Music, which is home to superstars such as Lil Baby, Migos, City Girls, and more. In 2021, Freddie scored his biggest hit to date, with “Pop It,” featuring Megan Thee Stallion.

However, Freddie is now in some serious legal woes. According to TMZ, he has been listed in a 61-count indictment. This includes 34 other defendants, as this stems from drugs and firearms charges. Freddie has since been placed in custody.

This indictment was handed down on Wednesday, as 70 people are being investigated, in total. The feds also state that Freddie and his East AR crew sold cocaine and marijuana, from March 2021-October 2022. In addition to this, Freddie is being hit with weapons charges for possessing multiple firearms in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime.

This all comes after Freddie release his “From Trap To Rap 2” mixtape, in July. That project contained 13, songs, including collaborations with Lil Baby, Money Man, and more.
