Former NBA star Ben Gordon has been running into some very troubling legal issues, this week. On Monday, he was arrested for hitting his 10-year-old son multiple times in the face, at Laguardia Airport, in New York City. This was reportedly due to Gordon’s son dropping a book. The son was later evaluated at a local hospital.

Now, Gordon has been arrested, two days later. According to TMZ, this is due to an open investigation for misdemeanor assault in Harlem. He was processed for his arrest in Queens, by LAPD.

Gordon is accused of getting into a heated argument with an adult female friend, and soon grabbing her cell phone. This argument is said to have occurred on March 13, of 2020. This altercation resulted in the woman having an injured finger and eye. Her eye soon experienced pain and swelling.

Gordon’s attorney, Joshua Kirschner, has since said to TMZ, that he believes the athlete will be cleared. He’s since been released from custody.

Gordon played 12 seasons in the NBA, including for teams such as the Chicago Bulls, Detroit Pistons, Charlotte Bobcats, and Orlando Magic. He was named Sixth Man Of The Year in 2005, while with the Bulls.
