Benny The Butcher Appears To Hint at Collab With Jay Z, After Latest Instagram Post Featuring The Two

Benny The Butcher of Griselda Records has definitely been showing that he has some of the hardest bars in the game. He’s also been extremely consistent in regards to releases since 2019. The Buffalo rapper really started to make an impact in the summer of 2019 with his “The Plugs I Met” EP.”

In the fall of 2020, he put out his “The Burden of Proof” album, which debuted at number 27 on the Billboard 200 chart. Almost three months ago, Benny put out the The Plugs I Met sequel, which featured 2 Chainz, French Montana, the late Chinx, and more. In May, he delivered his “Trust The Sopranos” mixtape with 38 Spesh as well.

Benny is with Roc Nation too and now, a record with Jay Z may be on the way. Benny posted a photo with Jay to his Instagram feed as both were all smiles. This began to generate hype regarding a potential collaboration as Benny’s caption was “Hope these rooftop meetings never turn into jail visits…it only put a smile on my face when the scale tippin…pic by @atribecalledhiphop.”

Hopefully, this collab does in fact happen as Benny and Jay are some of the best lyricists out. Benny also appeared on DMX’s new posthumous “Exodus” album last week, on the lead single, “Hood Blues.” This record also included fellow Griselda artists, Westside Gunn and Conway The Machine.
