Benzino accused of having relationship with transwoman Shauna Brooks
Benzino has been embroiled in controversy through his entire career. In many ways, Benzino is a visionary. When Benzino joined The Source, he helped brand it outside of the magazine. However, Benzino is also blamed for the downfall of The Source, by beefing with Eminem.
In 2012, Benzino joined “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta.” This began Benzino’s transition from publishing back to being an entertainer. Benzino found love with Althea Heart, which ended horribly. Towards the end of Benzino and Althea’s relationship, she accused him of having an affair with a transwoman.
Over the past year, Benzino has been embroiled in controversy with Coi Leray, his daughter. As a result, Benzino had to deal with accusations of not being an active father. While Benzino and Coi Leray have made amends, this adds to the stigma against him. Now, Benzino has to contend with Shauna Brooks putting him on blast. Shauna Brooks shared phone calls between herself and a man who sounds like Benzino. On the call, the man seems like he’s trying to get Shauna Brooks to not reveal they are dating each other. Shauna Brooks leaked the videos.
Shauna Brooks’ videos were reshared by 50 Cent, who clowned Benzino and Young Buck. So, Benzino has taken aim at 50 Cent. Benzino has directed cruel jokes at 50 Cent. Meanwhile, Benzino has denied an affair with Shauna Brooks. Benzino, instead, said they did a movie together.
