Benzino denies that he laughed on Instagram, at daughter Coi Leray’s first week sales, for “Trendsetter” album; Claims that he wasn’t using this account

Benzino denies that he laughed at Coi Leray’s “Trendsetter” album sales

Coi Leray and her father, Benzino, haven’t had the best relationship, for the past few years. In Coi’s recent Breakfast Club interview though, she explained that this daughter and father relationship has improved lately.

On Wednesday though, an Instagram story post went viral, where it appeared that Benzino was laughing at the first week sales for Coi’s debut album, “Trendsetter,” which was released last week. It is reportedly expected to sell 11,000 units.

Now, Benzino denies that he posted that story, to Instagram. This post is supposedly fake, and seemed to be photoshopped onto his Instagram account that was hacked and deleted. This comes after celebrities such as Tory Lanez and The Game bashed Benzino, for supposedly clowning Coi. Benzino also plans to take legal action on who defames his name.

This also comes a month after Benzino almost cost Coi a Nicki Minaj featured on the “Blick Blick” single. He announced the collaboration news prematurely, which resulted in Nicki pulling her verse. Coi and Nicki then had a private conversation, which restored the collaboration.

“I lost @iambenzino a year ago on IG. I lost 1.3 million followers. They must have shut my page down then put the name back out there. I been reported that page months ago on benzinos_legendary which they just shut down days ago @benzino.Scott is what I’m using now.”

Trendsetter contained 20 songs, and was led by hit singles such as “Big Purr” featuring Pooh Shiesty, “Twinnem,” “No More Parties” remix featuring Lil Durk, “Anxiety,” and “Blick Blick,” featuring Nicki Minaj. Additional appearances included G Herbo, Polo G, H.E.R., Yung Bleu, and more.
