The music industry is filled with interesting stories and Benzino is among the top of these stories. Although involved with some of hip hop’s most-popular events, Benzino never managed to rise above being a B-list celebrity. Known for his work with The Source and his eventual dismissal, Benzino also had aspirations of being a rap star.
While running The Source and later Hip Hop Weekly, Benzino continued to drop albums and remain in the mix. He was instrumental in VH1 deciding to do “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta,” which is a major success after two years. Benzino was heavily featured and his friendship with Stevie J was highlighted, until it ended in this past season.
After trading hurtful insults with Stevie J on Instagram and Twitter, Benzino has made it clear where he stands. He took to Instagram to reveal he was no longer a part of the show and he hinted towards it being because Stevie J was being paid more than him. During his rant, Benzino also threatened to expose Stevie J.
