In 2003, Beyonce went solo and there were always rumors of her eventually leaving her label and management to join Jay Z. Another reason the Carters are so smart is that they kept their businesses separate. But, Beyonce would fire Matthew Knowles as her manager.
Matthew Knowles is Beyonce’s father and he was the one who helped assemble Destiny’s Child. However, the media began portraying the patriarch in a negative light. This is something he addressed and defended on “The Breakfast Club.”
Beyonce reportedly cleaned house and decided to take it all back to basics. The people within her inner circle that had issues with her father have been fired. They are replaced by Matthew Knowles in a back to the future type situation.
