On Friday, Beyoncé finally released her seventh studio album, “Renaissance.” This project was one of the most anticipated album releases of 2022, as Beyoncé initially announced it in June. At the time, she put out her “Break My Soul” single, which was Bey’s first solo single since 2016. That month, Bey initially put out cryptic messages on her website, about a possible new album.

As soon as Beyoncé released Renaissance, fans flocked to streaming services, to check out the album. Fans were treated to 16 songs, as fan favorites went on to include “Church Girl,” “America Has A Problem,“I’m That Girl,” and more. Features also included Tems and Grace Jones.

Now, Renaissance has already achieved a huge streaming milestone. According to Chart Data, it earned the biggest streaming day for any female artist on Spotify in 2022, with over 50 million listens, on July 29.

Renaissance is also aiming for the top spot on the Billboard 200 chart, next week. First week sales are projected to be between 275,000-315,000 units. This would be Beyoncé’s seventh consecutive number one solo album. Every album of her career has reached this milestone. Renaissance is also Bey’s first solo album, since 2016’s “Lemonade.”
