Beyoncé’s “Break My Soul” has Grammy for Best Dance Recording
The Grammys are currently handing out awards before the show airs on national TV, later this evening. One of the categories just announced, is for Best Dance/Electronic Recording.
The winner for this Grammy officially goes to Beyoncé. This win is for her Billboard Hot 100 chart-topping “Break My Soul” single. This was initially released last summer, and was the lead single for Beyoncé’s seventh studio album, “Renaissance.”
Break My Soul received plenty of praise by fans, as Beyoncé experimented with dance/EDM flows. These were consistent sounds all throughout the Renaissance album as well. That project also went on to debut at number one in the US, on the Billboard 200 chart. Beyoncé has seven straight number one solo albums, as every album in her career has reached this mark.
Beyoncé also trended trended heavily this week, due to announcing her “Renaissance” World Tour. This will kick off on May 10, in Stockholm. European dates will be kicking off first, as the first show in the US will be on July 17, in Philadelphia. Fans are also e anticipating historic prices for these tour dates, especially on the resale market.
