Big Sean is the Creative Director of Innovation, for his home team Detroit Pistons. He earned this role back in 2020, as this was a huge moment for Sean, as he grew up rooting for this franchise.

One of Sean’s latest creative directing moves with the Pistons, was designing their city edition jerseys, with Nike. These feature a green colorway, with blue outside of the numbers on display. This pays homage to the St. Cecilia’s gym, which is near Livernois and I-96 on Detroit’s westside.

“Chef’d these jerseys up wit the @nike team n @nba for the @detroitpistons “City Edition” jerseys. paying tribute to a Detroit classic “St. Cecilia’s” (hence the green). The 3stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️ (for the 3 championships they accumulated) and that blue outline (for Detroit being a blue collar city).

The Pistons will wear these city edition jerseys, for 10 games of the 82-game regular season. The team currently stands at 3-9, and 13th in the Eastern Conference. They do have plenty of young talent, though, such as Cade Cunningham and Jaden Ivey. Bojan Bogdanovic has also been a very clutch shooter.
