Sometimes, even doing a good deed can lead to bad results. However, that is what is also called a “character building moment.” It’s just sad that people use every opportunity to attack other people, but it’s how the world now seems to be. Recently, a Black man took to Twitter to vent about his service at a restaurant. It turns out, the man was waited on by a Black waitress. As most employees do, she helped take money off his bill, after he paid. To even this out, the man gave her a bigger tip, but vented about it.
Typically, any kind of service employee would be elated to receive a higher tip. In this case, however, this was nothing to be happy about. After the waitress gave the man a discounted price, it turns out that she offended him. As a result, he created a now-viral Twitter thread, where he is insulting the woman. His words eventually devolved into a discussion about Black women. Overall, the situation is a very abnormal one.
In his Twitter rant, the man said that Black men have to dress fancy and wear expensive jewelry. The reason he says this is the case is because of Black women like the waitress. Because she lowered the price of his meal, he accused her of thinking Black men don’t have money. From there, he explained the bigger tip was so he paid the original price. As a result, after all of this, the people on Twitter gave the man a thorough roasting.
