Boosie made headlines when he threatened to sue Rod Wave for stealing his lyrics. However, Rod Wave has also been exposed for ripping an entire Jay-Z verse. In Boosie’s case, he’s gone after more rappers for stealing his rhymes. Nine years ago, YG was the hottest rising rapper on the planet. With “Who Do You Love?,” featuring Drake, he owned the radio. It turns out, Boosie used those words for the hook to his song, first.

Boosie isn’t the first person to target YG’s “Who Do You Love?” for lyrics. When the song was brand new, legendary West Coast rapper, Rappin’ 4-Tay, called Drake out. He accused Drake of reusing his entire verse on “The Playaz Club” for “Who Do You Love?” Drake never responded to Rappin 4-Tay. As a result, he sent a $100,000 invoice to the Toronto rapper. Now, almost a decade later, Boosie is calling YG out over using his lyrics.
